“Tech Tuesday” Session Dedicated to Facebook Beginners October 28

Olga Zimmerman, staff librarian and tech wizard at the Camden Public Library, will offer “Facebook First Steps” on Tuesday, October 28, at 3:00 pm. The session is part of an ongoing series of “Tech Tuesdays” for the library to offer patrons tech assistance in interacting with computers and social media. This first in a series of Facebook classes will be an hour-long introduction for the very beginner. “We will go over what to do after setting up an account: creating your profile, finding friends, posting comments, status updates, and photos, as well as an overview of privacy settings,” said Olga. Details on privacy and security will follow in another class. Please sign up in advance by calling the library at 236-3440. Prerequisite: You must set up a Facebook account before class. Please bring your own laptop, although the library does have a few to share.
