More Snow On The Way, Winter Storm Watch Up For Thursday

Maine - More snow is on the way for Thursday, February 9th, 2017 as a Nor' Easter is expected to hit with 6 to possibly upwards of 10-12 inches.

Thursday forecast:
Snow, mainly after 8am. High near 23. Blustery, with a north wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Thursday Night
Snow likely, mainly before 9pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -3. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Statement for National Weather Service out of Gray and Caribou:
A rapidly developing coastal storm will pass offshore on Thursday, and will bring snow to the region. There is potential for significant snow, mainly during the day Thursday, across southern New Hampshire and coastal areas of Maine.
