Portland, Maine - Portland Public Library together with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS) will host an information and outreach session at the Portland Public Library on November 21, 2013. The public is invited. USCIS personnel from the Portland Field Office will be on hand to provide case status updates as well as to provide general information. Staff will also be able to answer questions about USCIS programs including naturalization, citizenship, permanent residency and other immigration related benefits. Free educational materials will also be available while supplies last.
Those interested in the naturalization process will receive information about eligibility and residency requirements, application forms, fees and processing times. Those individuals interested in checking on the status of their case are advised to bring all relevant documentation with them at the time of query.
