Coyotes Reassign Mike Lee to Pirates

Saco, Maine – Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Phoenix Coyotes have Reassigned goaltender Mike Lee from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL to the Portland Pirates

Lee made one start for the Gladiators, stopping 29 shots for a 3-1 victory over the Greenville Road Warriors on Monday night. In two games with the Pirates this season, Lee has posted an 0-2 record with a 3.61 goals against average and a .879 save percentage.

The 23 year old native of Roseau, MN was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 3rd round (91st overall) of the 2009 NHL entry draft.

The Pirates get back to action on Friday at home as they look to even up the VIP Cup Series presented by VIP Tires and Service against the Manchester Monarchs.
