“Avian Haven” presented by the Midcoast Audubon Society and Diane Winn and Marc Payne, about their work at the year-round wild bird rehabilitation center in Freedom. 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.
Saturday, April 20
Spring Cleanup Day in Camden Park and Amphitheatre, 9:00 to noon. Volunteers are needed, bring gloves and rakes and meet Dave Jackson in the park.
Star gazing party on top of Beech Hill in Rockport, co-sponsored by Coastal Mountains Land Trust and the Camden Public Library, 6:30-8:30 pm.

“The Failed Popham Colony of 1607,” an illustrated talk by Bud Warren, tells the story of the first attempted settling of the New World by the English in what is now Phippsburg. 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library, part of the library’s Maritime Month.

“The Wreck of the Portland in the Great Gale of 1898,” an illustrated talk by Richard Cornelia, 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library, part of the library’s Maritime Month.

Meeting of the Maine Daylily Society, 11:30 am at the Camden Public Library, all are welcome, featuring renowned plant hybridizer Curt Hanson. For more information call 236-4085.
Tuesday, April 30
“My Money Works”, 6:00-8:30 pm at the Camden Public Library. Linda Buckmaster leads a free class in personal and family money management. Four Tuesday evenings, April 30, May 7, 14, and 21. Author Duane Robert Pierson will speak on his historical novel, Annie and the Prince of Wales: Portland, Maine 1860, 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library, as part of Maritime Month at the library.

Free workshop on when to start Social Security benefits, offered by Brian Beaulieu of Allen Insurance and Financial, noon to 2:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.
