Reiki
Reiki April 8
Tami Rogers will present a talk on Reiki and its uses at the Wellness Brown Bag Lunch on Monday, April 8, at 12:00 noon at the Camden Public Library. The Wellness series is co-sponsored by the library and the Pen Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce. Rogers will discuss how “universal energy” flows, why Reiki sessions are helpful to the body, mind, heart and soul, what a Reiki session feels like, and becoming a Reiki practitioner, the Reiki levels, and questions and answers.
Rogers is not only a Registered Master Maine Guide for outdoorsmen, but also a transitional guide for the mind, body, heart, and soul. She is Certified Reiki Master Teacher, Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, Reiki Drum Healing Practitioner Teacher, a Certified Hypnotherapist, practicing Shaman, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Science for Natural Health and Wellness. She has been teaching classes and leading Wellness Retreats throughout Maine since the late 1990s.
She says, “Reiki is a form of universal energy, somewhat like the air we breathe, you can’t see it, but you know it’s there. When a practitioner connects with this energy and places their hands on another, feelings of well-being, peace, joy, and immense relaxation takes place. When the body is relaxed and stress-free, it is capable of restoring its natural ability to heal.” Tami has a private practice in Camden, Maine.
