It's the first day of spring and there is nearly 10 inches of fresh snow on the ground, but inside the Samoset Resort in Rockport there is excitement in the air. The Business and Community Expo sponsored by the Pen Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is today. It may be cold and snowy out side, but inside is a bee hive of activity as local business people put finishing touches on their displays. At 2:00 the doors open and the public begins to arrive. Not only is this a chance to show off their business to the public, it is also a great opportunity to meet and network with other business and community leaders.
One of the great features is the loft area where the non profit organizations are. So many amazing groups accomplishing so much!
