EASTERN MAINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE GOING GREEN WITH NEW THINK BEFORE YOU PRINT SERVICE

Bangor, Maine - Eastern Maine Community College is making an effort to reduce paper waste this Fall 2012 semester on campus. The college has signed on with a new program, PaperCut, which gives EMCC Students 350 prints per semester.

Utilizing his or her student computer log-on information students will be able to see the remaining prints available on their EMCC account. After a student runs out of the 350 prints included with their tuition, they will be able to buy a Printer Access Card at the EMCC Business Office for $5.00. Each Printer Access Card will buy them 100 more prints for use on campus. In addition to this green initiative by the EMCC IT Department, All students will now have the ability to print wirelessly in most campus buildings by uploading a document to their PaperCut account.
